September 2025 marks the first National Science Popularization Month. On the morning of September 20, the Weike Science and Education Life Science Popularization Base, under the organization of the Xinxiang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, jointly held the 2025 Xinxiang High-Tech Zone Science Popularization Promotion Activity at Daqiao Yueshidai (Bridge Joy Times) together with science and technology-oriented off-campus training institutions and technology-based enterprises. The diverse on-site forms of presenting science and technology created a series of science popularization feasts for citizens and young people. The Weike Science and Education Life Science Popularization Base brought a wealth of life science exhibits to students, among which children's microscopes attracted the students' attention. Under the guidance of volunteers, the children operated the microscopes by themselves: placing specimens on the stage, adjusting the light source, turning the coarse focusing knob... After a series of operations, the children observed the cell structure of onion epidermis and the butterfly wings under the microscope. "So this is what onion skin cells look like!" "Great! I finally got to see it!" The children exclaimed in amazement, their faces beaming with joy. By operating the microscopes in person, the children experienced the wonder of the microscopic world and significantly improved their observation and hands-on skills. Subsequently, the fascinating animal and plant specimens as well as human tissue and organ models aroused great interest among the students. Life science volunteers gave in-depth yet easy-to-understand science popularization explanations to the children, which not only broadened their horizons but also stimulated their strong interest in life science. Through the close-up experience of the diversity and adaptability of organisms, the seeds of protecting the ecological environment, building a beautiful homeland, and achieving harmonious coexistence between humans and nature were subtly planted in the children's hearts.By guiding the children to have an immersive experience, this activity allowed them to feel the charm and power of life science up close, sowed the seeds of loving science and learning science well in their hearts, and enhanced their scientific literacy.

On the afternoon of September 4th, the launch ceremony of the 2025 Xinxiang National Science Popularization Month, jointly organized by the Xinxiang Association for Science and Technology, Xinxiang Science and Technology Bureau, Xinxiang Education Bureau, and Xinxiang Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, was successfully held at the Xinxiang Youth Activity Center.
